The Women’s Health Resource Library in Milbridge will feature a series of Summer Artisan Workshops in July. These four, fun, hands-on workshops are designed to unleash your creativity and feed your spirit.
Linoleum Block Carving and Stamp Making for Beginners with Emily Naples
Learn to create your own stamps and patterned blocks to print on fabric, paper, and more.
July 12th and 14th, 1-4pm both days – cost $50
Wrapped Up Glass Jewelry with Krissy Tatangelo
Create a lovely focal pendant or pair of earrings using sea glass or favorite beach stones.
July 20th, 1-4pm – cost $30
Collage with Joanne Halpin
Learn how to assemble bits of paper, magazine pages, and/or variously decorated papers to create a Maine inspired landscape.
July 22nd 9-Noon – cost $30
Hand Building Pottery with Patricia Hayes of Narraguagus Pottery
Learn how to hand-build a tray, vase, or eye -glass holder with hand-slab pottery construction.
July 25, 26, 29 (M, Tue, F), 1-3pm all days – cost $50
Enjoy learning a new art form with experienced artisans. All materials will be provided and students will leave the workshop with a piece of artwork. Workshops are open to women and men, age 15+.
