This season, the Women’s Health Resource Library’s Incredible Edible Milbridge program is pairing up with Master Gardener Volunteers to tutor two lucky beginner or intermediate gardeners.

You’ll work your own 60 sq. ft. bed at the IEM Market Garden at the Red Barn Motel for growing your own vegetables under the mentorship of a Master Gardener Volunteer. The MGV will work with you throughout the season sharing their gardening knowledge and helping you grow a bountiful garden. From preparing the soil to planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting your vegetables, this is a fabulous learning opportunity!

The program is free, however, you must commit to working out a gardening schedule with your MGV. Early in the season you’ll probably spend three to five hours a week getting the garden started. After that at least an hour a week to weed and water your garden. You can decide what vegetables you would like to grow.

If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please fill out this short online application before June 10, 2016.
