Ah, manure! A generous donation of stable manure lay before us as the Milbridge kindergarten and second grade children and their teachers gathered to make compost with Harrington gardener, Brian Dyer Stewart on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 (almost Halloween).

Word on the street has it that it will start heating up. We'll see………..                          P.S. by day #3, the temp of the pile had risen from 60 degrees to 129 degrees.  Now that’s a good compost pile--- Stand tall! Compost Builders of America!
